Late last year, Motion 29 announced the launch of its new Patlite explosion safe signal tower which has been designed to operate in harsh or outdoor environments such as those where damp, dust and gas are present (Zones 2 and 22).
The new Patlite signal towers are CE compliant in accordance with ATEX and have an IP54 rating (with alarm/flashing lights) or IP65 (without alarm/flashing lights).
The synthetic materials used to build the lenses and body of the tower withstand severe conditions and the energy efficient LED, with its double reflection system, creates a bright light which cuts through dusty and hazy atmospheres.

The signal tower is available to order in any combination of between one and five stackable LED units which come in a choice of colours – red, amber, green, blue and clear. In addition to its default condition of continuous lighting, the tower can also be ordered with flashing functions and with two extra loud alarm sounds (85dB at 1m output).
