By using one device to conduct active and passive testing across both copper and fibre networks, NaviTEK II eliminates the need to purchase and carry multiple testers. Features of the unit include an Autotest function which helps users to locate wiremap faults more quickly and accurately by testing via both pin and pair, detecting split pairs and identifying the distance to fault. In addition, there is the ability of Ethernet troubleshooting.
The NaviTEK II also offers further capabilities such as IPv6, PoE and VLANs, and includes user exchangeable RJ45 inserts negating the need to return the unit to a service centre, thereby maximising user productivity and reducing down-time. Additionally, the provision of Ethernet performance data means users can more accurately document results of tests undertaken by using the product to generate, store, view, and export reports for printing.
Other features include a rubber moulded design for robustness and longevity, options for either batteries or mains power, and a large brightly lit colour screen to enable clear display and accurate reading of results.
