New expanded conference format and content for 2014
Delegates will benefit from DCD Converged London’s new conference format incorporating four dedicated 2-full-day tracks covering the following themes:

· IT + Networks – Linking business strategy to technology adoption and looking at how advances in IT and Network technology affect how we build and connect data centers of the future

· Environment – Helping professionals who manage the performance, efficiency and resilience of a data center’s physical infrastructure, also known as the critical environment

Mission Critical Security Summit
For 2014 DCD Converged London will also be co-located with a new 2-day conference, the “Mission Critical Security Summit”. This dedicated event has been designed to bring together key security strategists to drive the interaction and collaboration required to deliver the step-change now necessary in securing mission critical ICT systems. Speakers will equip attendees with an in-depth understanding of the dynamic security landscape, and the practical insights and guidance to develop a unified and smart security strategy, which enables both security and efficiency in the modern data center.
Open Compute Project and the changing role of the CIO
During the course of the two full days of learning and information gathering Cole Crawford, executive director of the Open Compute Project Foundation will set out a vision of current and future technology advances under the Open Compute Project. Cole will be detailing the pace of innovation and how new use cases and applications are being tested in public.
Also joining the international speaker line up is Jonathan Koomey, research fellow at the Stanford University who will examine how CIOs are slowly moving from being keepers of systems to becoming brokers of information services, requiring them to understand the options for delivering information services at the lowest cost.
