Kraus & Naimer UK recently launched their ATEX approved safety switches for hazardous areas.

In such production areas, specifically Group II, category 2, Zone 21, (where an explosive dust atmosphere is likely to occur occasionally), it becomes imperative to prevent ignition of the hazardous explosive atmosphere.

This is where the Kraus & Naimer Maintenance and safety switch becomes such a good choice. With IP66 protection ensuring that dust particles are stopped from entering the enclosure and a choice of either an emergency red and yellow handle or a black and grey one. The range includes 3 and 4 pole up to 55 A and 6 pole switches up to 32 A, which can be supplied in EMC compliant versions.

Their enclosures offer generous cabling space, facilitating quick and easy installation. If you would like a catalogue showing the different options available just give Kraus & Naimer a call to receive a printed or digital copy.
