Now available in the UK from Quadrant is the Telegärtner UMTC (Ultra Miniature Telecommunication Connector) range – an ultra-miniature, 50ohm coaxial connector, compatible with U.FL, MHF (I-PEX) connector series and other connector types.
With a maximum height of 2.5mm from a PCB, these connectors can be used for frequencies up to 6GHz, making them well suited for applications where space is critical.
The single screened, 50ohm, coaxial cable has an overall diameter of 1.13mm and the range includes UMTC cable assemblies that use the Telegärtner UMTC elbow jack at one or both ends, and the single ended version can be terminated with SMA, R-SMA or TNC connectors.
