The organisers of Railtex 2017 are pleased to confirm the final keynote speaker for this year’s event will be Andrew McNaughton, Technical Director at High Speed Two Limited, who will speak in the Seminar Theatre on the show floor at 10:30 on Thursday, 11 May 2017.
Professor McNaughton’s appointment as Technical Director at High Speed Two Limited in February 2012 followed his 2 years there as Chief Engineer.
He is also Special Professor of Rail Engineering at Nottingham University; a Visiting Professor of Engineering at both Imperial College London and Southampton University; Vice Chair of the EU Transport Advisory Group; Chair of the European Rail Research Advisory Council and Special Advisor on rail to the Australian Government.
He was previously Chief Engineer at Network Rail.
Professor McNaughton joins a number of high-profile speakers at the trade exhibition, including Rail Minister Paul Maynard MP, Dr Francis Paonessa, David Waboso and David Prout. All presentations and exhibitors are freely accessible for show attendees.
