Available in a number of sizes, Rittal’s range of Hygienic Design (HD) enclosures offer IP69K protection and provide a key element in the design of open processes in the food industry and clean rooms.
The enclosures offer simple cleaning with inclined surfaces of three degrees on all sides and ten degrees on the front cover to prevent debris remaining on the enclosure surfaces. The range also offers an all round gap-free silicone seal between enclosure door or cover, a seam-free construction and hygiene compliant hexagon locks and fixings.
Captive quick release cover locks on terminal boxes, a one piece, easily replaceable silicone seal and interchangeable door hinges internal to the enclosure, help to ease assembly and maintenance. For component installation and greater flexibility, internal rails are supplied with 6.25mm hole pitch, KL support rails that can be fitted directly and, in the compact enclosure, a mounting plate.
