GRP (glass reinforced polyester) is becoming an increasingly popular choice for housing Kraus & Naimer’s range of switch disconnectors and changeover switches. GRP enclosures have many advantages including being highly resistant to extreme temperatures, self-extinguishing and non-corrosive, a great all-rounder in fact. It’s an extremely strong and robust material, making it the ideal choice within a number of different and varied industries. Ranging from hotels to construction, marine docks to education, GRP is very versatile and can easily be used for any application within any industry. The unique properties of GRP mean that the condition of the product hardly deteriorates when exposed to the elements. GRP can be outside, regardless of rain or shine, and remain undamaged and unaffected by the environment.
With the increasing demand, Kraus & Naimer offer a standard range of rotary isolators in GRP enclosures ranging from 25A to 315A, and from 3 – 6 Pole. A major benefit of the Kraus & Naimer product range is its availability from stock and the ability to add a variety of different options to the standard isolator. For example, multiple auxiliary contact options are available and additional side mounted neutral and earth terminals can be added. Up to 3 push button/pilot lights or control switches can be added to the enclosure.
