Lighting experts, Luceco, are proud to unveil the latest additions of Dim2Warm, Flick Switch Colour Change and Adjustable downlights to their innovative FType range.
Designed and engineered with superior performance at its heart, Luceco is building on the success of the FType’s 2017 range with an additional selection of market-leading downlights due to a gap in the market for Dim to warm and colour-changing lights.
Positioned as ‘the trendsetter’ for both design and installation, the fire rated FType was the first of its kind to deliver 100 lumens per Watt (W) in its core range. Available in both 6W and 8W versions, FType has become a welcome addition by installers, consumers and wholesalers. Luceco’s focus on fast-fit solutions, flawless functionality and maximum energy saving, makes the FType perfect for both new build and retrofit applications.
Using the latest Samsung LED chip technology, its integrated dimmable driver and speed-fit™ loop in/loop out piano key terminals allow for fast and simple installation on both stranded and solid wire cable, making the FType one of the most efficient and unrivalled residential fire rated downlight ranges on the market.
Fully compliant with British Standards, as well as with building regulations, the FType range is tested to maintain a fire barrier with 30, 60 and 90-minute ratings. Fixed versions of the product are also IP65 rated, meaning they can be installed in bathrooms to match the rest of the dwelling installation.
The downlight features 10 different bezels to choose from; offering wholesalers the chance to upsell, and allowing customers to find the perfect fit for their home. Incorporating both a thermalrod heatsink and crystalline optic designs, the FType includes a unique 60° baffled back lenses which delivers crystal clear, low-glare illumination giving users a true halogen-like appearance.
