Responding to the needs of customers for a simpler method of specifying the exact configuration of industrial connectors, MARECHAL ELECTRIC has developed the interactive configurator which turns, with a few clicks, specifications into industrial plugs and socket-outlets, DECONTACTOR™ connectors and boxes.
By clicking on the polarity, current rating, voltage and body material required, the specifying engineer can quickly narrow down his search from MARECHAL’s comprehensive connector range which includes product from 5A to 700A and up to 1500V AC and DC. The Configurator is supported by quick on-line access to technical documentation including those all-important dimensions. An automated request form, pre-filled with information from the Configurator search, enables users to request more information based on their exact specifications.
Over 3000 product configurations are available; simply select, confirm suitability and print off the data sheet – all in real time.
Flexibility: standardisation and customisation
Through the Configurator, standard products can be customised with any of the available options on offer, e.g. socket pad-locking or auxiliary contacts.
The Configurator offers:
– A selection of existing ranges in Ex or industrial versions
– Modification of those standard products for individual projects
– Fast, 48 hour response time to requests for more information and/or quotations received via the online request form.
