Power capacity extended

Mar 21, 2012 | UPS & Standby Power

Uninterruptible Power Supplies Limited (UPSL), has announced plans to extend the power capacity of its PowerWAVE 6000 stand alone three-phase UPS.

The extended range will be available in both 400kVA and 500kVA power ratings, parallelable up to 5MVA. The new PowerWAVE 6000 reduces the overall physical footprint, and with a power density up to 363kW/m2, consumes less energy, generates lower CO2 emissions and provides overall cost savings.

The new additions to the PowerWAVE 6000 will be available from April, and have been designed to meet the growing power protection demands of mission critical applications within the data centre, IT, telecommunications and financial services sectors. Features of the new PowerWAVE 6000 include the flexibility to accommodate an increase in power requirements, with n+1 parallel redundancy and double conversion efficiencies of up to 96%, even with partial loads. Installation and maintenance are straightforward with only frontal electrical connections and fully serviceable components throughout.
