Powerstar, designers and manufacturers of the Virtue energy storage system will be exhibiting at the Energy Management Exhibition (EMEX) in the Excel, London from the 16– 17 November, on stand D34

The exhibition comes at the end of a successful year for the company. Virtue has been nominated for the ‘Innovation of the Year’ at the Energy Awards, whilst the company’s investment in an electric vehicle fleet has been shortlisted in the GreenFleet awards for the ‘Private Sector Fleet of the Year’.

During EMEX, Robert Hughes, business development director for Virtue will be appearing as a panellist on the ‘Future of Renewable Energy Panel’ at 12:30pm, on the second day of the exhibition.

Robert will be providing his expertise on the impact of renewable energy on the National Grid. He will also be highlighting the growth of decentralised local renewable energy generation and demand site off-setting, alongside providing information on how advanced analytical monitoring and control systems are paving the way for the development Smart Cities.

Discussing the exhibition and the panel debate, Robert said, “The EMEX exhibition will allow us to showcase our Virtue energy storage solution. During the last 12 months there has been a lot of excitement surrounding benefits the solution can bring to a wide variety of industries, particularly when used in conjunction with renewable sources.

“The UK is becoming a leader in using renewable sources to provide scalable clean energy when allied with an effective energy storage, as energy generated through renewable sources can be stored and utilised during times of peak demand and it’s certainly a topic I’m looking forward to discussing with other key figures within the energy industry at EMEX.”
