The range of magnetic cylinder sensors from Balluff has been expanded with the introduction of the BMF255, an ATEX (Zone 0/20 category 1G/1D) version enabling use in areas with continuous, long term and frequent occurrences of dust, gases and vapours.
The sensor can be easily fitted, has an LED function indicator and the switch has a protection standard of IP67. The overall length is only 25mm making it well suited for short stroke cylinders. The six metre long integral cable aids quick and easy connection.
