This new piece of equipment, the GOM ATOS 3D Optical Scanner, will speed up the development process, whilst ensuring the company’s products are ideally suited to the situations and environments they face, such as; hazardous areas or extreme weather conditions.
By digitising real-life objects, PMA can further understand its geometric dimensions; how they are built, how they fit together with other objects, and how they react under certain pressures.
3D Optical Scanning is particularly integral to such areas as:
